An oil on canvas, painted as a commission. This was one of my early paintings, :) so don't look too close.... The object was to paint with bright blues and convey a bright sunny day. As the Greek Islands are so well known for hot sunny summers. Maybe one day I will find out!!!!

Another study painting, oil on canvas. I loved painting with oils , and spent most days while pregnant exploring this medium. However when my son was born, it did not take long for him to discover the oil paint on my palette. I decided that after I found little oil paint fingerprints around the house!! it was time to explore pastels.... lets put the oil paints away for a season....
